The graduation ceremony of the “Talent Development Program for Young People with Disabilities” was held on 4 January 2025, with Mr. HO Kai Ming JP, Under Secretary for Labour and Welfare, as the officiating guest.  Around 70 graduates, course trainers, and guests participated in the ceremony.

The Hong Kong Joint Council for People with Disabilities (“the Joint Council”) recruited 26 people with different types of disabilities to join the “Talent Development Program for Young People with Disabilities” (training program).  The first part of training program was organized from August to November 2024.  Through eight sessions of lectures and agency visits, students were equipped with the knowledge about the laws, policies and issues related to disability and rehabilitation services.
